For over seven years, I have been coming up with new ideas every week for The Write Prompts.
When it comes to writing, children often face hardship because their mind is like a blank piece of paper. In such a situation, kids often require help from the elders including their parents, teachers or with whomever they are comfortable with.
It is not difficult as only plain writing prompts for kids can take all what it needs to prime the pump. This allows them to have the freedom to let their imagination grow.
In this way, children can be judged by their elders regarding their personality traits. Their wishes along with the extent can be detected through such writing prompts. Such writing prompts could be: This person is special because….
I wish there were a law at school that said…. I wish I could learn…. I wish I had one more chance to…. I wish I had enough money to…… I wish everyone loved…… I wish all children would…… I wish I could touch…… I wish animals could…… If they could, then….
I wish I looked like…. I wish I could go to…. When children are growing up, they seem like curious creatures. The word why becomes the centre of every conversation.
If children are able to get the answers of all the whys in their life, certainly, they can write about such things too. All children give answers to their whys just the way they received their share of explanations.
Such writing prompts are: Why is it important to be honest? Why is important to have good manners? Why is exercise important to someone your age? Why do you think the rules you must follow are good or bad? Why do you think some people take advantage of others?
Why do you think prejudice exists in the world? Why would we say that someone is "passing the buck"? Explain why we say, "dead as a door nail".
